Spelling Bee

Three brave pupils from Bryngwyn school's Year 7 took a trip to Swansea University yesterday for the Routes into Languages Spelling Bee competition 2018. David Hughes and Paul Kaye from the European Commission highlighted to pupils how important languages are for job opportunities in the UK and said they will be even more important post-Brexit. Grace Williams competed in the French competition and Rhys Tomas and Rhianwen Rees-Jarman competed in Welsh. All three did extremely well and we are very proud of their efforts. They each won a certificate and enjoyed a delicious Spelling Bee cupcake before heading home!
