Bryngwyn Pupils Interviewed by Scarlet FM's Tommo for the Tag Rugby Challenge to be Held at Parc y Scarlets

Bryngwyn is celebrating the 2011 Rugby World Cup in partnership with Parc y Scarlets and our family of 9 primary schools by presenting our own Tag-Rugby Challenge.

Earlier this year, our 9 primary schools came to Bryngwyn and each school drew a country that they would represent for the 2011 World Cup. The pupils from the primary schools then participated in rugby related activities and studied the traditions and cultures of their chosen countries. They also met with their Yrs 10/11 Bryngwyn Buddies who mentored the pupils to help with their transition to secondary school. These activities have been organized to support a holistic approach to literacy across the curriculum. The final event of the programme will take place Friday night, 7th October, at Parc y Scarlets where the family of primary schools will play in a mock tag rugby event while the World Cup is taking place in New Zealand.
